Victoria joined Kelly Hazell Quill in September 2008 and initially gained experience across all aspects of the firm but now practices within the commercial litigation group. Victoria has experience in a range of commercial disputes including contractual disputes, insolvency and franchising disputes and also practices in the field of media law including defamation.

Victoria is originally from England and graduated from the University of Liverpool with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours). Following her graduation, Victoria moved to London where she completed a two-year training contract with an English national insurance litigation law firm, Berrymans Lace Mawer. Victoria then spent three years as a qualified lawyer in their Professional Indemnity litigation team, based in the London office.

During her time with Berrymans Lace Mawer, Victoria was involved with a wide range of professional indemnity and general commercial disputes ranging from high value matters to small claims. She was regularly instructed to act on behalf of FTSE 250 companies, Lloyds' market insurers and national utility providers and has been involved with several large, high profile disputes. In addition, Victoria undertook a secondment to a large insurance firm (CNA) to assist their in-house claims handlers. Immediately prior to joining Kelly Hazell Quill Lawyers, Victoria was involved with cases arising out of sub-prime and prime mortgage lending which had resulted in multi-million pound losses to financial institutions.
