James Hutchins

James Hutchins holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from Monash University. He joined Kelly Hazell Quill as a solicitor in March 2010 and practises in general commercial litigation and corporate law. James is experienced in a wide range of commercial disputes, including commercial contracts, trade practices, insolvency, directors' duties, securities lending and employment restraints.
As a former member of the commercial litigation group at DLA Phillips Fox, James worked on matters in all Victorian courts and in the Federal Court. He has experience in all stages of litigation: from taking initial instructions to appearing at mediations and directions hearings as well as instructing at trials and appeals.
James has achieved excellent results for a range of clients, including multinational companies, publicly listed companies, privately owned local companies, insurers, property developers and small businesses.
